Caroline Elizabeth Alexander is the President/CEO of Healthy Muse, Inc. and is dedicated to partnering with both medical and complementary healthcare professionals worldwide to enhance the profession of colon hydrotherapy as a preventative and maintenance healthcare practice. Ms. Alexander promotes colon hydrotherapy within the current scope of practice for professional, certified colonic hygienists and works toward integrating the science of healing with the art of healing for the greater good of our society. Ms. Alexander actively participates with medical professionals to gain greater recognition and acceptance of colon hydrotherapy to bring this powerful health practice into mainstream consciousness in partnership with the allopathic community. This year Ms. Alexander was invited to speak to students at both the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and the George Washington University School of Public Health regarding the health benefits of colonic hygiene using FDA registered medical devices and the benefits of a probiotic diet.
Ms. Alexander is an International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT) Instructor for Colon Hydrotherapy with National Board Certification and an elected board member of the National Board for Colon Hydrotherapy (NBCHT). As an I-ACT Ambassador and NBCHT board member she participates with a dedicated team of individuals to continue to raise the standards for the profession of colon hydrotherapy. Ms. Alexander is also a Certified Body Ecologist (CBE) and promotes the benefits of a probiotic diet to both her clients and her students. She is a professional speaker and wellness consultant specializing in digestive health to cleanse, restore and strengthen the body's natural immune function.
In addition to operating Healthy Muse, Inc., Ms. Alexander will continue to lecture, write and facilitate health and wellness workshops for public and private groups throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. As a guest on local television and radio programs she also provides information:
• to help raise public awareness of disease prevention
• to educate individuals about the body’s ability to heal itself
• how to make informed health choices
• and taking responsibility for one’s own health
Ms. Alexander (47) resides in Northern Virginia where she lives the lifestyle that she promotes. Caroline is the proud mother of two sons, ages 12 and 15 and is dedicated to children’s health and well-being as an integral part of her ever-evolving health education programs. Caroline has a strong desire to heighten awareness regarding the nutritional and behavioral links to children’s health issues and develop wellness protocols specifically designed for children.

John Grauerholz, M.D., F.C.A.P. is a board certified forensic pathologist, graduated from Duke University Medical School and has served as a senior medical examiner in four states. Dr. Grauerholz writes and lectures in the areas of health and public policy as a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Additionally, he has had the opportunity to speak to audiences and senior officials on four continents about health related issues. His life long interest in the areas of health, nutrition, exercise and preventive medicine led him to the health practice of colon hydrotherapy. In 2006 Dr. Grauerholz was elected by I-ACT members to serve on the National Board for Colon Hydrotherapy (NBCHT) in order to devote his expertise to issues being addressed by the NBCHT for the advancement of the profession of colon hydrotherapy.
Hannah Bradford, M.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist and has studied herbal medicine, homeopathy and other aspects of alternative medicine over the last fifteen years. She is Assistant Professor (Adjunct) at the George Washington University School of Public Health where she teaches a class on alternative medicine. She frequently lectures at the Marymount School of Nursing and is on the Data Safety Monitoring Board for Alternative Medicine at the National Institutes of Health.
Megan Scango, RCST, Colonic Hygienist has a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. Megan is a certified primary educator at a Montessori school and received her training at the Montgomery Montessori Institute and is a member o the American Montessori Society. She studied and graduated with a professional degree in Cranio-Sacral therapy from the Wellness Institute in Crestone, CO. Megan has been passionate about health and exploring alternative health practices for over ten years. Her journey began at a natural foods co-operative that she managed bringing her to colonic hygiene. Megan completed her foundatin level training in colon hydrotherapy at Healthy Muse School for Holistic Health practices in April of 2006 and is currently working on her intermediate level training in the profession colon hydrotherapy. Megan is an International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT) member and currently shares her knowledge, talent and experience with our clients.
